The finest Balsamic Vinegars originate in the rolling hills of Modena. Our traditional premium organic aged balsamic vinegar and white balsamic condiment are produced by the Lorenzi family deep in the Modenese hills.

All grapes that are used are grown on the family farm that has been run on organic lines since 1977. The oak aged balsamic vinegar is 5 years old and uses the Trebbiano di Spagna, Trebbiano di Modena and Lambrusco Grasparossa grape varieties. Unlike the sharp tastes we usually associate with vinegar, the balsamics present a rich dark complex of sweetness and intrigue.

The white balsamic condiment uses the raw/ripe must from a variety of white pinot grapes that gives it a fresh and delicate taste and is a perfect compliment to all types of vegetables.

While Balsamic Condiment lends itself well to a stunning vinaigrette, it may find its highest expression in distinctly un-vinegar-like roles such as a splash on fresh fruit or ice cream. It should come as no surprise that when balsamic vinegar was first produced, more than 600 years ago, it was reserved exclusively for the use of the nobility by Ducal fiat.
